Overview
Upfield Soccer Club (“USC”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information when you visit upfieldsc.com.au or deal with the club — including Season 2027 expressions of interest, Season 2026 membership, contact enquiries, and other club activities.
It applies from August 2026 and covers Season 2027 club operations on this website. By using the website or submitting a form, you agree to this policy.
02 · What we collect
What we collect
Many pages can be read without giving us personal information. You will be asked for details when you register interest for Season 2027, apply for Season 2026 membership, send a message, or otherwise deal with the club.
Information you may provide includes:
- Name, email address, phone number, and suburb or address
- Date of birth, gender, and program interest (MiniRoos ages 7–11, Juniors 12–18, Female Program, Senior Men, U23/Reserves, Summer Program, coaching, or volunteers)
- Parent or guardian name, relationship, and contact details for junior and MiniRoos EOIs
- Football background such as previous club, playing experience, preferred role, or how you heard about the club
- Season 2026 membership type (Adult or Junior) and pack-collection details
- Messages and other information you include in an enquiry or form
Children and sensitive information
MiniRoos and junior pathways involve players under 18. We collect a parent or guardian’s details so the club can follow up about Season 2027. Please only submit a child’s information if you are their parent or guardian, or have authority to do so.
Optional medical or support notes on an EOI are collected only so the club can consider wellbeing and inclusion. They are treated as sensitive information and handled with extra care. Incomplete EOIs may be kept on your device for the browser session so you can finish later; those drafts are not used as a finished registration.

How we use it
USC uses personal information to:
- Review Season 2027 expressions of interest and follow up when program, trial, or registration information is ready
- Process Season 2026 Adult and Junior membership applications, payment follow-up, and in-person pack collection
- Answer contact-form and email enquiries, including sponsorship and match-day questions
- Communicate with members, players, families, volunteers, coaches, and sponsors
- Run competitions, events, and day-to-day club operations at Gibb Reserve
- Improve the website and how forms work
Website and security checks
We may collect technical information such as browser type, pages viewed, access times, and the site you came from. That is used for internal analysis, performance, and keeping the site reliable.
Forms include a Cloudflare Turnstile check so we can tell people from automated spam. That check may use a short-lived token and your IP address. It is not used to sell your details.
04 · Sharing
Who we share with
USC may use third-party services that only receive what they need to do their job, and that are expected to keep it confidential. For Season 2027 that can include:
- Website hosting and maintenance
- The membership application form host and any payment provider used to complete membership
- Email and communication tools used to send club messages
- Football Victoria and competition platforms used for player registration, fixtures, and club administration when those steps open
We do not sell your information
USC does not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties.

Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions. For security, we may ask you to put the request in writing. USC may charge a reasonable administrative fee where the law allows.

If we start using information differently
If we start using personal information for a new purpose, this page will be updated first. New uses apply to information collected after the update, unless the law requires or allows otherwise.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
USC may update this Privacy Policy at any time. The current version is always on this page. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the website and contact the club about any information we already hold.
